A member of the Kardashian family has found themselves at the centre of a pretty strange debate.
This time, it is North West – the eldest daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West – that has set tongues wagging recently.
And that is because the 10-year-old revealed her love for a somewhat unusual snack.
“Can you eat it like that?” Kim then asks her, to which North replies: “You want some?”
I mean, that’s pretty nice of her.
“No, thanks,” Kim then answers. “You’re just going to eat an onion like an apple?”
The reality TV star then says to the camera: “This is what she does, people. She eats veggies like apples.”
Later giving her little girl a kiss on the cheek, Kim – who also shares Chicago, five, and Saint, seven, and four-year-old Psalm with West – exclaims: “Oh, my gosh, this onion breath is going to make me cry!”
“No, it’s so strong. Oh, my gosh, my eyes are literally tearing. How do you not tear?” she adds.
Fans, however, had a lot to say about North’s snack choice.
“North West eating an onion like an apple is concerning!” one fan wrote on X.
Another wrote: “North West chompin on a raw onion like an apple is so bizarre”.
A third added: “North West eating a raw onion right through the wrapper is what I’m most concerned about here.”
While a fourth said: “ain’t no way I just watched north west EAT AN ONION LIKE AN APPLE.”
However, others praised her peculiar snacking habit – with some even labelling her ‘iconic’.
“North West eating an onion like an apple and replying to the question “what do you think about what your mum does?” with “what does she do?” is the best thing ever. Iconic”, one fan said.
Another added: “There is something so entertaining and real about North West eating a raw onion. Little weird special girl! Love her.”
Later on the episode, Kim also opened up about her co-parenting struggles to her sister, Kourtney Kardashian.
One thing she admits she didn’t expect however, was for North to claim she prefers living at her father’s.
“She’ll go to her dad, she’ll be like ‘Dad is the best, he has it all figured out’,” Kim tells Kourtney.
Mimicking North, Kim adds: “‘He doesn’t have a nanny, he doesn’t have a chef, he doesn’t have security. He lives in an apartment’.
“And she’ll start crying, ‘Why don’t you have an apartment? I can’t believe we don’t have an apartment’.”
Kourtney, 44, then admits that she’s also familiar with Kim’s predicament.
She co-parents her three children Mason, 13, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 8, with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick.
“They do that at Scott’s too,” Kourtney said.
“‘Dad has the best house, your house sucks’,” she quotes her youngsters.
“He has the best house. It’s not super big, the vibe’s better’.
“I feel like everything falls on the parent that’s more involved.”
