Man captures ‘best footage ever recorded’ after spotting ‘Bigfoot’ in the wild

An unnerved man was left asking the public for help and advice after he captured footage of a creature some believed to be Bigfoot.

There are countless photos and videos out there which claim to show the elusive Bigfoot wandering the forests, but a post shared by a YouTube user named Josh Highcliff has been described as the ‘best’ footage there is.

Highcliff shared the video online after his eerie encounter took place on his hunting property in Mississippi, about nine miles west of Tunica.

Alongside his video, Highcliff shared some context which explained he had been hunting hogs in part of the swap located ‘not too far from a road’.

“I was wearing hunting camo and just sitting dead still waiting for it to get dark, cause thats [sic] when the hogs come out,” he explained.

While he was waiting, Highcliff heard a noise coming from behind the tree where he was sitting.

He initially thought it would be a hog, but when it came into view he ‘could not believe’ his eyes to see a ‘huge black thing crouched by a dead cypress about 50 yards away’.

“[I] saw these big shoulders and a head upright with hands. It looked like it was digging out the stump,” Highcliff said.

Though his ‘first instinct’ was to run away, Highcliff began recording because he knew ‘no one [would] believe’ him.

“I hear a truck driving down the road and the thing stood up!! I was trying to be dead quiet…when it stood up i could not control myself and ran,” he said.

Insisting the creature was not a bear, Highcliff turned to the internet for answers, questioning if it was someone trying to ‘prank’ him.

“I always heard stories of skunk ape and honey island swamp monster from these parts but never thought about it being real ever,” he said. “Has anyone seen anything like this in Mississippi?”

After Highcliff shared his video, shocked viewers responded to share their thoughts and insist that he might be on to something.

“It looks so natural, like it’s in it’s element,” one viewer wrote. “When you hear the crack of the wood when it rips it out it sounds like it’s got some real strength. Pretty convincing…one of the best [bigfoot] videos I’ve seen.”

Another commented: “This is one of my favorite Bigfoot videos. I notice that hold my breath when I watch that thing.”

A third added: “Honestly, this is probably the best footage ever recorded. Amazing that it’s not talked about more.”

It’s now been more than a decade since Highcliff recorded his footage, but Bigfoot still remains as elusive as ever…

Therapist reveals the most common ‘justifications’ people have for cheating on their partner

A psychologist has offered an answer as to why partners are more likely to cheat in their relationships.

If you’ve ever been cheated on, apart from feeling insanely sick and just as insanely angry, there’s a lot of questions that run through your head. Why? Is it him? Is it me? Can they change? Or not?

One of the reasons is happenstance. Credit:Peter Dazeley/Peter Cade/Getty Images

Well, luckily (I think?) psychologist Clara Zelleroth, a licensed psychologist and couples therapist, has given an insight into the most ‘common justifications’ cheaters admit to their partners afterwards.

Zelleroth recently told Metro: “As unfaithfulness is a break of the mutual understanding, or ‘contract’ of the relationship, it is often seen as a form of betrayal.

“This is also why we would not call any excuses for cheating in relationship counselling ‘valid.'”

She then offered the most common ‘justifications’ cheating partners have given in couples therapy.

“This decision is typically influenced by factors such as alcohol or a time of high stress, making a person more likely to cheat when the opportunity occurs,” Clara explains.

“In the aftermath, individuals often describe the scenario as ‘it just happened’.”

This is a reason given by both men and woman and is often described has them having a ‘weak moment.’

The therapist also added that if you have had a moment of weakness, the ‘worst thing you can do is hide it from your partner.

The second justification she says, is sexual dissatisfaction. As much as it might sting to think about, she says it’s another really common reason for adultery.

Individuals who have been unfaithful to their partners cite reasons including ‘My partner doesn’t want to have sex’, she explains.

“It might be that their partner is reluctant to engage in sexual activities for various reasons, as well as a potential mismatch of sexual drives which prompts the individual to seek fulfilment elsewhere.”

The third reason is similar, it’s ‘emotional dissatisfaction’ that can see one half of the couple become fed up with a lack of intimacy from their partner so create an emotional connection with someone else.

Clara explains: “People who have cheated often express feelings of “not being seen or prioritised” by their partner, prompting them to seek connections with others for emotional fulfilment, which may not necessarily involve sexual intimacy.”

The last reason is a lack of commitment, which both men and woman can feel during a relationship, when some cheaters are questioned their answer is ‘we were going to break up anyway’, which is also an ‘exit affair.’

Clara says: “Infidelity can also be linked to low commitment in the primary relationship. People may rationalise their actions with statements like ‘we were just about to break up’ or ‘we are not really in a committed relationship at the moment, just casually dating,’ but their partner might not feel or view the relationship in the same way.

“This often stems from a lack of mutual communication about the relationship and commitment, leading to differing perceptions between the partners. You could think of this as the ‘we were on a break’ moment between Ross and Rachel from Friends.”

Private investigator reveals four giveaways your partner is cheating on you

According to a YouGov survey last year, 54 percent of Americans who have been in a monogamous relationship say they have been cheated on – either emotionally, physically, or both.

To put your mind at rest, or perhaps make you even more paranoid, private investigator Aaron Bond shared with The Sun the most telling signs that there might be some reg flags when it comes to your partner and their behaviour.

Phone Behaviour Changes

According to Bond, a sudden change in how your partner behaves with their phone could be a possible giveaway.

If they’ve changed their passcode for no apparent reason, or change it regularly, this could be cause for concern.

Bond explains: “If they starts taking their phone everywhere with them, even around the house, or they become defensive when you ask to use their phone it could be a sign of them not being faithful.”

Being cagey about what they’re up to

Another trait the unfaithful may have is they show less of an interest in spending time with you, not show much excitement about seeing you, and may even withdraw, not wanting to talk about their day.

Bond said: “If you feel like your partner has suddenly begun to avoid you and they don’t want to do things with you anymore or they stop telling you about their day then this is another red flag.

“Partners often avoid their spouses or tell them less about their day because cheating can be tough, remembering all of your lies is impossible.”

A change in sex drive

Both ends of the spectrum could be a cause for worry. If your partner suddenly lacks interest in your sex life, while it may have absolutely nothing to do with you, it could potentially point to cheating.

While on the opposite end, if they’re seemingly insatiable it could mean they’re trying to mask their infidelity.

Bond said: “Cheaters often have less sex at home because they are cheating, but on occasions, they may also have more sex at home, this is because they feel guilty. [They] use this increase in sex to hide their cheating.

“You may also find that your partner will start to introduce new things into your sex life that weren’t there before.”

They have much more of a negative attitude

The stress of cheating and keeping it all in can cause stress to implode in on them, but this may also spill onto you.

“To get rid of the tension they feel inside, they will try to convince themselves that you are the problem and they will become critical of you out of nowhere,” Bond said.

The above, of course, should be taken with a very light pinch of salt.

Every relationship is different, people are different. If you notice any of these changes, it doesn’t automatically point to cheating, of course. But still, pretty interesting?

Couple leave people baffled after cutting out soles of their shoes so they can walk barefoot

Some people pick their shoes based on fashion, others are focused on practicality – and the majority of us sit somewhere in the middle.

We like our shoes to look nice but be comfortable and protect our feet at the same time. That’s the whole point of shoes, right?

So you can understand why one couple have left people feeling absolutely baffled after revealing they had cut out the soles of their $20,000 shoe collection because ‘walking barefoot means the world to [them]’.

In a clip that has now been viewed more than 46 million times, TikToker Christi Fritz showed herself and her husband removing the soles of their shoes, before taking a trip to Sephora, where they put them to the test.

Explaining the reasoning for their unusual fashion choices, she went on: “We decided to start walking bare foot and one of our followers had a great idea.

“Since some businesses don’t want us being completely barefoot, if we cut the bottom of our shoes off, it allows us to be barefoot and blend in with everyone else.”

The TikToker admitted it was a ‘huge commitment’ to be decimating her huge shoe collection, but that it was one she and her husband were willing to make.

“Our shoe collection is worth more than $20,000, but this is a sacrifice we’re willing to take, because walking barefoot means the world to us,” she said, adding: “The benefits of walking barefoot are priceless.”

In the comments, Christi’s followers questioned her on the benefits of walking barefoot and why they would be so eager to go to the extreme to allow themselves to do so.

One person suggested it was because walking barefoot ‘keeps you grounded and connected you to the earth and its energy’.

Meanwhile, another suggested that having to create a lid in the shoe for their toenails to latch onto in order to keep the shoes on, actually goes against the benefits of having bare feet.

Others suggested that walking barefoot on natural ground, such as on grass, does have its appeal, but that walking around in concrete areas in the middle of a city does not.

“Are you really grounding if you’re walking on sealed floors though? How often are you making contact with the real ground? Suggest carrying EMF meter,” one follower commented.

They certainly are committed to the cause, however many followers suggested that they could actually buy barefoot shoes, which are specifically designed for allowing wearers to connect with the ground without going completely barefoot.

Fitness influencer speaks out after calling out man who went on ‘disrespectful’ rant at her for filming her workout

A TikToker has spoken out after sharing a recording of a man being rude to her at the gym.

Fitness influencer Em took to her page last month to share a video of herself doing a workout at a branch of O2 Fitness in North Carolina.

However, just as she got the recording going, she was interrupted.

Em – who goes by the username @emmysbakedbeans on the platform – took to TikTok to share the moment a man started commenting on what she was doing in the gym.

You can’t see the man in the video, so without the volume it doesn’t look like anything’s wrong, but if you turn up the sound you can hear why Em suddenly gets up and walks away from one of the machines before she’s barely even started her session.

In the recording, a raised voice can be heard saying: “Try spending more time working out. It’ll help a lot more.

“Sitting there f**king video-taping yourself the whole time. It’s stupid why you’re doing it.”

Em received floods of comments on social media, other users weighing in on the unpleasant interaction, and she’s since spoken out about the publicity she’s received.

Taking to TikTok last week, Em said the original video ‘got way more attention’ than she thought it would’ – having received floods of support from other social media users, even the likes of Joey Swoll.

In the post she continues: “I just want to say, please don’t let people like this or this video discourage you from going to the gym.

“You deserve to better yourself by going, do whatever you want without having to worry about people.

“So please just remember that and focus on positivity and working on yourself.”

And once again, people are flooding to Em’s post to share their views.

One TikTok user said: “Idk i like workout videos bcs i like watching people better themselves and work hard for themselves… keep your head up girl.”

“You have such a level-headed attitude. I would have completely lost it in that situation,” another added.

A third commented: “Nothing wrong with videoing in the gym. As long you’re not using to make fun of others. Which you don’t do that.”

And a fourth resolved: “Your videos in the gym inspire people to work out and give people like me the motivation to keep pushing through. I appreciate people who film in the gym. Thank you for what you do and keep doing you!”

Waitress leaves people shocked after sharing that she made more than $600 on tips in one day

People are flocking to social media to weigh in on a waitress making $600 tips from one shift.

While one man believes no server should get 25 percent tips for simply doing ‘their job,’ clearly, others think different, or this waitress wouldn’t have ended up with a staggering $600 in tips from one day’s shift.

Haven Tunin – who goes by the username @haven.tunin – took to her TikTok page last year after finishing a 12-hour shift at a pizzeria.

In the video, she documents herself clocking out of her shift and going through her ‘server checkout’ revealing she made over $2,000 in sales that day.

But how much did she take home in tips from serving so many people she brought in $2,000 for the restaurant?

Well, to her own shock, Tunin reveals she’s received over $600 in charge tips.

Showing the numbers on screen, Haven says in the video: “Oh my f**king god, I don’t think I’ve ever claimed this much.”

Taking her cheques to the bar and returning with a huge wedge of dollar bills and a beer, Tunin reflects on the day as ‘insane’.

She continues: “People were so generous and nice. It was amazing.”

The waitress then sits down to properly count her stack of money, with a deservedly huge smile on her face at her small fortune, revealing she made a total of $674 for her long shift.

“That is insane for a 12-hour shift, for a Sunday especially,” she adds. “And my sales were $2,200 so like I said, people were very generous today.”

Finishing work with a pocket full of cash, Tunin cheersed her beer to her followers – also shocked by her earnings.

One wrote in the comments: “Pop off queen that’s a good ass day.”

With others saying: “Wow. You have to be a phenomenal server that tip to sales ratio is insane. Kudos.”

Another put: “F**king no way bro I make 100$ on a good day rn I’m sobbing.”

Many are desperate to know her secrets too as they commented: “I think I might be doing something wrong because I make like $300 on a 12 hour shift.”

But Tunin reassured: “I don’t always make this much, I normally make between 150 on a slow day and 600 on a good day on Sundays. It really just depends on the day.”

The server shares various videos of her check-outs on TikTok, where she has made $324 and the likes of $237 on a ‘really slow day’.

On a nine-hour-shift day where she made $393, she said it was ‘not that bad’ because she only ‘took one table’ that night.

But as she racks up well over $600 in one shift, users joked: “Where tf you work???? Y’all hiring????”

Leonardo DiCaprio was ‘paging through Victoria’s Secret catalogue’ on set, director claims

Leonardo DiCaprio is no doubt a man of many talents. Not only is he an incredible actor, but he also has a gift when it comes to the ladies.

At least that’s what his history of beautiful girlfriends would certainly lead us to believe.

But, while you get the sense the Titanic star could probably get almost any woman he ever wanted, a hilarious little anecdote recently shared by filmmaker Edward Zwick may have just revealed how the actor goes about finding his partners.

In a little sneak peek from his forthcoming memoir, Hits, Flops, and Other Illusions: My Fortysomething Years in Hollywood, which was shared on X, formerly Twitter, the director recalled his time on set with DiCaprio and his co-stars Jennifer Connelly and Djimon Hounsou, while making hit 2006 movie Blood Diamond.

The political thriller, which was set during the Sierra Leone Civil War, grossed $171 million worldwide and received five Oscar nominations, including Best Actor for DiCaprio and Best Supporting Actor for Hounsou.

Complimenting the three stars, the director spoke of ‘only one instance of even the mildest misbehavior’ between the actors, explaining: “It’s more a testament to their camaraderie than anything else.”

“It seems Leo was currently between gorgeous girlfriends. One morning I walked into the makeup trailer as I often did to discuss the day’s work with him,” Zwick recalled.

“I found him in the chair waiting for his turn and noticed he was paging through a Victoria’s Secret catalogue.

“‘What are you doing?’ I asked. [Connelly] was in the chair beside him. Without even looking over, she said, ‘Shopping’.”

Of course, we can assume the comment was made in jest, however DiCaprio has been linked to a number of supermodels who have worked with the famous lingerie brand.

They include Erin Heatherton, Gisele Bundchen, Bar Refaeli, Eva Herzigova and Helena Christensen, to name a few.

Most recently, the Wolf of Wall Street actor has been linked to Italian model Vittoria Ceretti.

Before that, he was known to have dated Daisy Jones and the Six actor Camila Morrone from 2018 to 2022.

Airline divides opinions after introducing ‘adults only’ section on their planes

There’s a few things that can happen on planes that can kinda ruin your journey.

Whether its semi-wrestling someone over the arm rest, flight delays, or terrifying turbulence, there’s a couple things that can take away from the experience.

According to many, one of the most annoying things you can encounter on a flight is a ‘screaming baby’ (even though we know it’s not their fault, no such thing as a ‘rude newborn’) They can be slightly noisy though.

In an effort to make flights as pleasant as possible, has introduced ‘adult only zones’ on their planes, a decision that’s polarized the internet.

The new rule means that only people over the age of 16 can enter these upgraded zones, which are apparently pretty cheap considering – with the upgrade costing $48.

The seats are located at the front of the plane, and there are usually 93 seats available within those zones, for people who are looking for a guaranteed peaceful flight.

Atilay Uslu, founder of Corendon, said in a statement: “Onboard our flights, we always strive to respond to the different needs of our customers.

“We also believe this can have a positive effect on parents traveling with small children. They can enjoy the flight without worrying if their children are making too much noise.”

However, the move seems to have divided people, with some taking to X to share their opinions.

With one just bluntly stating: “Thank god, children are an annoyance.”

Another commented: “I would prefer drunk-obnoxious-men free zones.”

Another felt slightly differently, writing: “At whose expense is this? Put kids with their parents, and discounted price based on age and height.”

Another agreed: “Let’s not only restrict air travel but also further [discourage] people from having children. Urgh, why do people hate families?’

The flights have already been launched back in November of last year, with Corendon being the first European airline to implement this particular in-flight upgrade.

Malaysia’s AirAsia, India’s IndiGo, and Singapore’s Scoot airlines offer something similar called ‘quiet zones’ to give passengers a break if they feel they need it.

Again, it’s not the children fault for any noise as it could be due to colic, or could just be a baby being a baby, it’s something unavoidable.

It seems like quiet/child-free zones were made with those in mind who need to sleep while on a flight.
