I have never fallen in love on a scientific basis, and I don’t think I should have either. Yet, this appears to be a scientifically sound explanation of why and how we fall in that pit/heaven: “Along with dopamine, the body also produces a substance called nerve growth factor.” Yupp, now I understand.
