Have you found yourself noticing the decrease in the quality of music these days? We have gone from a complex symphony of instruments and lyrics from bands like The Beatles to construct a masterpiece like Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. To a very simple keyboard, drum machine and looper constructing just about every single in the charts. If you feel you are getting a little old and out of touch, don’t worry it is not your imagination. Music is getting progressively worse and this video outlines exactly why.

We all know that drinking any type of cola is very unhealthy. Yet still many people like to enjoy a can from time to time. When it comes to the most popular brands, many believe that the “diet” version is actually a healthier option, but is it really?

Let’s examine some of the main differences.

• Regular Coke: Regular Coca-Cola is sweetened with high-fructose corn syrup (in the United States) or sugar (in many other countries). It contains a significant amount of calories (about 140-150 calories per 12-ounce can) and a high amount of added sugar (approximately 39 grams per 12-ounce can).
• Diet Coke: Diet Coke is a calorie-free beverage sweetened with artificial sweeteners, such as aspartame or sucralose. It does not contain any sugar or calories.

A couple of years ago a President of Coca-Cola Europe was questioned about astonishing amounts of sugar in some of their products:

Many sources claim that diet colas are as bad, if not worse than regular Coke,

Diet cola can raise blood glucose levels and blood insulin levels.

There is also growing concern that artificial sweeteners affect the good gut bacteria.

Aspartame which is added to Diet Coke to replace sugar or high-fructose corn syrup.

Some of the more known potential side effects of aspartame consumption include:

1. Headaches and Migraines: Some people report experiencing headaches or migraines after consuming products containing aspartame.
2. Allergic Reactions: In rare cases, individuals may be hypersensitive or allergic to aspartame, leading to symptoms such as hives, itching, and difficulty breathing.
3. Gastrointestinal Distress: Aspartame consumption can sometimes lead to gastrointestinal symptoms such as gas, bloating, diarrhea, or an upset stomach in some individuals.
4. Taste Alterations: Aspartame may affect the taste perception of some people, causing a metallic or bitter aftertaste in certain foods or beverages.
5. Mood and Behavior Changes: Some studies have suggested a potential link between aspartame consumption and mood or behavior changes, but the evidence is not strong, and individual responses can vary widely.

Overall, most experts agree that regular coke is “healthier” option, if you can call it “healthy”.

The fibonacci sequence is a number pattern which occurs when you start with 0 and 1, and continue to add the subsequent numbers. So-

0+1=1

1+1=2

1+2=3

2+3=5

3+5=8

And so on- so we are just adding the last 2 digits in the sequence. 0 1 1 2 3 5 8 13 21 34 55 89 144 and so on. What this does is (after the first few numbers in the sequence) is it creates a ratio close to 1.618- also known as the golden ratio.

This ratio can be witnessed in everything such as the human anatomy, plants, flowers, the universe itself and even successful companies are well known to use this ratio in the design of their products and logos. If god or your representation of what you would call a creator was a number, that number would be 1.618.

Now this article is not about the fibonacci sequence as we know it, there are hidden codes within this sequence that I will speak about in the future, but for this article I wanted to talk about if we start the sequence with 33.

So you may ask what is so magical about this sequence and the first clue starts with the number 33, as 33 is the start of this sequence. From a numerological standpoint 33 is incredibly powerful. 3 is mind, body and spirit, with 33 representing this in the physical and spiritual realm. 3+3 also makes 6 which is god or the creator. But what really triggered this code for me was the fact that we can derive the number sequence 3-6-9 from 33, as we have the obvious 3, but also 3+3 is 6 and 3×3 is 9. 3-6-9 represent ascension, which is the act of rising into an important position, but 3-6-9 has a lot more than just a spiritual meaning.

So all numbers within this code are 3, 6 or 9. Once you map out these 3 numbers on a 9 pointed grid like the one below you get part of a code and the shape of a triangle.

If we look back at the fibonacci code starting with 3- the 12th number is 432. From an article from Collective Evolution “It is said that 432 Hz vibrates with the universe’s golden mean, Phi, and unifies the properties of light, time, space, matter, gravity, and magnetism with biology, the DNA code, and consciousness. When our atoms and DNA start to resonate in harmony with the spiralling pattern of nature, our sense of connection to nature is said to be magnified. The number 432 is also reflected in ratios of the sun, Earth, and moon, as well as the procession of the equinoxes, the Great Pyramid of Egypt, Stonehenge, and the Sri Yantra, among many other sacred sites.”

Vietnam’s offerings are diverse. From bustling markets to peaceful Buddhist pagodas, and from beaches to mountains, and everything in between, all of it can be found in Vietnam. Ranked 50th on the Global Peace Index, residents can live comfortably on a mere $1000 monthly budget. The top job for foreigners in Vietnam is being an English teacher. A country in South America that ranks just below Vietnam in the Global Peace Index (47th) is Uruguay. The 2nd smallest country in South America is a blast of culture – from the Carnaval to the tango on the streets. As for places to visit, it is filled with architectural remnants from when it was a colony as well as a lot of beaches to spend your off days on. Moreover, it is one of Latin America’s safest countries to live in while also offering reasonable rents. This country also has a strong demand for English teachers that have TEFL certification.

MALAYSIA

Malaysia is not just a tourist destination. It is also one of the cheapest and nicest places to live in. Its climate, friendly people, a low rate of crime, as well as cheap living expenses all combine to make it one of the best places to permanently live in. Moreover, English is the unofficial first language of the country which makes the language barrier a minor problem. Even in bigger cities such as Penang, the monthly living expenses of a couple will not exceed $1500. One just has to be in touch with the locals.

The South American country’s weather is almost always spring-like. It also has extensive public transportation which means one does not need cars. For only $500, people can also get a condo with a beautiful view too. Moreover, the country already has a very closely-knit community of expatriates. There are a host of hikes, art classes, trivia, dinner clubs, and games to take part in to spend your off time. If one lives frugally, monthly costs should be well under $1000, even including household help.

For our final recommendation, we return to Europe for its high standards of living. The cost here is comparatively higher than the rest on this list. But it is still much less than in countries like the United States. A little knowledge of Spanish is recommended to live comfortably in an area that is not frequented by tourists. However, the first-world residents will not have to sacrifice any of the amenities they are used to. Living costs are modest: in Madrid, one can get by spending $2000 per month.

Walt Disney was one of the most influential people in the history of cinema as well as in the public imagination of American citizens.

Walt Disney was well known for his sentimental populism and had major contributions to shape up his image as an enterprising innovator. He was the one to pass on Disney’s legacy for further centuries.

Keeping these things aside, Walt Disney was also a large political figure whose actions hurt the livelihoods and lives of several people, who had different beliefs.

It was found out that Disney was a spy for the FBI, from 1940 till his death, and supplied information about his workers to the Bureau. He also manage to wreck the movements that were orchestrated by unions by tagging them as “communist agitators”.

The reports are available on the Bureau’s website which gave details about Walt Disney’s exchanges with the FBI. These had been released to the public after the Freedom of Information Act was passed and as per these reports, Disney actively expressed his admiration for the insidious machinations of the FBI and even let FBI director J. Edgar Hoover make creative decisions about some of the projects.

WHAT WAS WALT DISNEY’S REWARD IN THIS CO-OPERATION?

Walt Disney got various favors from the Bureau which included protection and other political advantages and was also allowed to shoot a film in the Bureau’s headquarters.

Walt Disney provided such valuable intel that he was made ‘Special Agent in Charge Contact’ by the FBI in 1954, signifying that Disney was an individual who was capable of providing resources to the FBI and taking care of PR issues as well.

It should be kept in mind that the political atmosphere of this era was quite volatile, due to the Red Scare and Senator McCarthy.

Walt Disney was actually too shrewd in this matter and utilized these attitudes to his advantage and made sure that his services to the FBI helped his own business.

Walt Disney once said: “Once a man has tasted freedom he will never be content to be a slave. That is why I believe that this frightfulness we see everywhere today is only temporary. Tomorrow will be better as long as America keeps alive the ideals of freedom and a better life. All men will want to be free and share our way of life. There must be so much that I should have said, but haven’t. What I will say now is just what most of us are probably thinking every day. I thank God and America for the right to live and raise my family under the flag of tolerance, democracy, and freedom.”

Disney showed this face to the common public but was a tyrant to his labor unions and political alliances.

In July 1941, the animators at Disney went on a strike to protest unfair working conditions and Walt Disney immediately utilized the opportunity to run an advertisement in Variety where he said: “I am positively convinced that Communistic agitation, leadership, and activities have brought about this strike.”

Disney later testified that several of the named animators in the strikes were communists. This made it crystal clear that Disney was ready to utilize his connections to achieve his goals. The FBI also played a role in the establishment of Disneyland which was used by the Bureau for their own operations.

The document that was released stated:

“Mr. Disney has recently established a business association with the American Broadcasting Company-Paramount Theatres Inc. for the production of a series of television shows, which for the most part are scheduled to be filmed at Disneyland, a multi-million dollar amusement park being established under Mr. Disney’s direction in the vicinity of Anaheim, Calif. Mr. Disney has volunteered representatives of this office complete access to the facilities of Disneyland for use in connection with official matters and for recreational purposes.”

Walt Disney was not the only spy in Hollywood. Other examples included Ronald Reagen, who supplied intel to the FBI about colleagues who harbored communist sympathies.

In order to increase interplanetary communication in the galaxy, an interstellar radio message was sent to space in 1974. The target was a globular star cluster called M13.

Interestingly, this communications system, as well as the entire plan was to highlight the advancements made by humanity in the field of technology- rather than any real motive behind establishing a series of communication channels with extraterrestrial entities. But considering the quality of the images sent, it did seem quite dubious if the interplanetary systems did attach some meaning to the images. This message was sent to outer space through radio waves at a ceremony that marked the renovation of the Arecibo radio telescope in Puerto Rico.

ARECIBO RADIO MESSAGE SENT TO SPACE IN 1974 BY SCIENTISTS RECEIVED ” A REPLY” IN 2001

The Arecibo radio waves led to a phenomenon called the Arecibo answer. A crop circle appeared in 2001 near the Chilbolton Radio Telescope located in Hampshire, UK. This was portrayed as a response sent from the extraterrestrial recipients with the original message imprinted- except for a few changes. The crop circle featured the same 23×73 grid simply because the numbers were prime and most of the data regarding the chemicals were the same except carbon which was changed to silicon. At the bottom of the circle, the entire human figure was turned into a large, bulbous head.

Skeptics claim that this is an “obvious hoax” and that pranksters made the crop circles, however, no evidence is presented to support one or the other side of the story. No one was caught on camera or admitted to creating it. Such formations would require weeks of careful planning and teams of people to create them properly. Yet, the crop circles appeared unnoticed in a short period of time. Crop circle enthusiasts think this is a “genuine response”:

Most skeptics are of the opinion that if extraterrestrial beings had to establish contact with our planet, why couldn’t they simply send radio waves back rather than create a crop circle in the middle of nowhere? Crop circles are a very interesting phenomenon countless witnesses claim that complex formations appear overnight, yet many scientists remain skeptical and rarely bother to investigate it well enough.

STEPHEN HAWKING WARNED US ABOUT THE PERILS OF INTERPLANETARY COMMUNICATION

The Arecibo message and the resulting crop circle wasn’t the only message sent to outer space. Before his demise, Stephen Hawking and a Russian billionaire had an idea that a message would be sent to outer space which could be very specific to humanity as a whole. This program would also be a way of discovering any extraterrestrial life form.

This is why the scientists had asked people to think of what could be written as the message- but no development has taken place ever since the passing of Stephen Hawking. On the side of the spectrum, there are scientists and theorists who believe that if the beings were to send a response back to earth, it wouldn’t be in the form of a crop circle or radio waves but something more dangerous.

This is why Stephen Hawking, in a 2010 documentary, spoke about the perils of sending radio waves into space. He warned that there could be beings in outer space who were looking to wipe us out, and sending radio waves would simply put a target on our backs. What Hawking considered to be a worse possibility would be when extraterrestrial beings wipe us out by accident by believing that our radio waves were an act of aggression. He believed that this would be similar to the condition of the Native Americans when Christopher Columbus invaded their region.

In May, Sotheby’s headquarters in New York will be hosting the auction of what could be the most expensive book of all time: a bible estimated up to 50 million dollars. It is said to be one of the oldest in the world, an example of a book unlike any other. What is it really?

THE ORIGINS OF THE BIBLE

The Bible is said to be the world’s best-selling book. Granted, it enjoyed a head start: in the 15th century, when Gutenberg developed his famous printing technique, it was of course the Bible that he chose for widespread distribution.

At the time, Gutenberg printed a Latin version of the Bible, known as the “Vulgate”, translated from Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek by Saint Jerome at the turn of the 5th century AD. We owe such linguistic diversity to the fact that the Bible is not a book, but a collection of books written at different times by authors who did not all speak the same language. The word “bible” itself means “the books” in the plural (in Greek: “ta biblia”).

The bible to be auctioned on May 16 is in Hebrew and dates from around the 10th century AD. This is a respectable age, but there are much older manuscripts. A thousand years earlier, scribes were copying the same books onto parchment (or, more rarely, papyrus) scrolls.

Some of these manuscripts spent millennia hidden in caves on the western shores of the Dead Sea. They were discovered in the middle of the 20th century by Bedouins. These “Dead Sea Scrolls”, as they are called, are the oldest manuscripts of the Bible to date. Unfortunately, they are dislocated and fragmented: there are more than 30,000 fragments, which must have corresponded to about a thousand scrolls. There are as many puzzles to be solved, without a model, and with most of the pieces missing. The oldest are dated to the 3rd century BC, perhaps even the 4th or 5th century BC, as I recently proposed. The later ones are dated to the 2nd century AD.

I know there are many similar tests like this that fly around the internet that are pretty meaningless and not very accurate, but this one just happens to be one of the cool ones that is really quite revealing.
