Behold the Astonishing 233-Foot Superyacht Concept with a Razor-Sharp Bow, Designed to Conquer the High Seas

SkyStyle has christened its most recent superyacht design Unique 71, and at first glance, the vessel lives up to its moniker. The 223-foot vessel has a wedge-like profile that distinguishes it from all other vessels presently on the water.

The Italian design firm specialising in aircraft interiors has partnered with Denison to deliver its first yacht concept to market. Max Pardo and Lucas Colombo, the founders of SkyStyle, conferred with the Ft. Lauderdale company at the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show and were able to secure support for Unique 71.

Colombo said in a statement, “Denison showed great interest in the project and our intention to add new and innovative values to the yacht industry.”

It is simple to see why Denison was fascinated by the singular superyacht. The triangular vessel’s aluminium hull and superstructure, along with its streamlined lines and razor-sharp bow, allow it to cut through the high seas. According to the Italian shipyard, she will be equipped with twin diesel engines that will give her a maximum speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots.

Meanwhile, the vessel’s interior is characterised by wraparound glass panels that will enable ample natural light and views of the surroundings. Each glass panel’s opacity can also be adjusted to give mariners a little more privacy.

With a beam just short of 43 feet, the Unique 71 features spacious living quarters on four decks that are accessible via the central staircase or the lift amidships. The yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests in its main stateroom, VIP suite, and four cabins. There are also nine accommodations for 17 crew members on the lower deck.

Also included are a 12-seat theatre, a glass-enclosed skylounge, a billiard room and bar, as well as a touch-and-go helipad, swimming pool, jacuzzi, fitness centre and leisure. The layout can be modified upon request, of course.

Dension’s Alex G. Clarke added, “With Denison presenting this ground-breaking design, it enables a client to solicit bids from multiple shipyards to help develop and make this project a reality without being tied to a specific yard.” “The difficulty lies in locating a shipyard that can comprehend this vision and the client’s objectives, both as an individual and in their business/personal use of the yacht,”

You can contact Clarke for more information regarding this prospective construction.
