California: Kurt Strand Unveils an Astonishing 135-Meter Mega Yacht Concept

If you are unfamiliar with Kurt Strand’s extraordinary yacht designs, this futuristic vessel will ensure that you never forget his name. The brilliant yacht designer from Southern California has just unveiled California, a 135-meter luxury yacht concept with a magnificent design that emphasizes glass and water.

Large glass walls and glass balconies, combined with folding glass doors and retractable sections, create the illusion of indoor and outdoor spaces merging into one large area on this magnificent vessel. There are three pools on the lower aft platforms, one of which features a surf-riding machine and a small waterfall.

The bow’s design is inspired by ancient gladiator headwear and features glass sections with cutouts for the eyes. In conjunction with the yacht’s superstructure, the yacht’s angular windows give it a contemporary appearance and contribute to its masculine aesthetic.

The automatic elevator system operates the foredeck lounge, leisure pool, helipad, and hangar, among other features.

The interior design is influenced by zen philosophy and features a great deal of reclaimed wood and natural stone to create a pleasant and calming environment. There are Koi ponds, wall waterfalls, and aquariums, as well as a nightclub and bar, a spacious lounge, a gaming room, a gym with a hammam, the ubiquitous massage studio and wellness spa, a movie theater, and a bowling alley.

There is even room for a collection of classic automobiles. The yacht will be equipped with a hybrid electric propulsion system fueled by ultra-efficient diesel turbine generators and a 60-ton lithium-ion battery, allowing it to operate for up to five hours at a reduced speed of 11 knots. The maximum pace is 20 knots, which should be sufficient for anyone.

Step inside the 75m Kenshō wins Motor Yacht of the Year at the World Superyacht Awards

Motor Yacht of the Year was awarded to the 75-meter Admiral superyacht Kensh at the World Superyacht Awards.

The independent panel of judges used a secret ballot to determine that the flagship of the Italian Sea Group was the victor by a substantial margin, out of the eight individual winners of the Semi-Displacement and Displacement Motor Yacht classes.

Kensh — a Japanese word that means “seeing one’s true nature” — was constructed over the course of six years, from 2016 when the initial foundations were laid until her delivery and debut at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2022. Her swooping lines and metallic green-blue paint are reminiscent of a 1960s Ford Mustang, but it was her owner-driven characteristics that tilted the scales for the judges.

The owner visited approximately one hundred of the world’s most iconic yachts to compile a wish list for his vessel, which included high deckheads and minimal side decks, efficient interaction between personnel and guests, large, calming volumes, and the absence of a main saloon. Azure Yacht Design and Naval Architecture of the Netherlands and Archives Berlin of Germany devised the naval architecture and exterior design.

Nature is a recurring motif throughout the entirety of Kensh. The exterior is said to resemble the contours of a pebble-shaped by natural forces over time, while the pool deck’s stairs have been designed to appear as if they were carved by the sea. It was the first yachting project for the Parisian design studio Jouin Manku, who devised a palette of soft natural tones in leather, teak, metal, and glass to capture the same ambiance.

The exact power requirements of Kensh’s diesel-electric propulsion system with twin Veth azimuth drives powered by Danfoss electric motors are met by five variable-speed generators in order to reduce her carbon footprint.

Since her inception, this is not the first piece of silverware the vessel has acquired. The 2023 BOAT International Design & Innovation Awards presented her with the Neptune for Best Interior Design in the Motor Yachts 500GT and Above category.

Arcadia A100+: Discover the Exquisite Marvel Unleashed by Arcadia Yachts

The Italian shipyard Arcadia Yachts intends to demonstrate once more why everyone glances in their direction whenever they unveil a new stylish vessel. Seven years ago, when this brand was founded, it took the world by storm with a stunning superyacht design that included floor-to-ceiling windows, solar panels built into skylights, an imposing vertical bow, and a straight-edged superstructure, all of which were quickly adopted by other yacht builders.

But Arcadia is always one step ahead of the competition, and they have recently teamed up with Hot Lab to design the stunning Arcadia A100+ yacht you see before you. The award-winning interior design firm contributed to the redesign of the Arcadia, which still features an ultra-efficient vessel with floor-to-ceiling windows and large glass panels, as well as 540 square feet of photovoltaic solar cells intended to power all onboard electrical systems.

The exterior configuration of the Arcadia 100+ has been modified, with a larger upper deck and an improved foredeck, while the aft deck is now convertible and features a formal dining area for up to 10 guests and a second dining table for up to 12 passengers in the lounge area. This new Arcadia vessel also features a welcome sense of transparency between the interior and exterior spaces, allowing everyone on board to enjoy uninterrupted views of the ocean in complete seclusion.

The designers at Hot Lab ensured that the interior of this yacht is equally as impressive as its exterior by imagining five various interior layouts to suit any taste. You could find exquisite Italian furniture with Carvalho wood and custom resin paneling, as well as leather and cotton embellishments, ebony highlights, and warm hues. September’s Cannes Yacht Show afforded attendees the opportunity to witness this opulent and refined environment for themselves.

Bugatti Niniette 66 Yacht: Where Automotive Elegance Meets Nautical Grandeur

The breathtaking Bugatti Niniette 66 is the result of a new collaboration between the automotive wizards at Bugatti and the creative team at Palmer Johnson Yachts. Palmer Johnson was responsible for the distinctive naval architecture and engineering of this magnificent 66-foot vessel, which was designed to complement the Bugatti Chiron on both the inside and outside.

Featuring a slender monohull stabilized by a sponson on each side, this beautiful yacht will be a joy to sail, as it is incredibly simple to maneuver at any speed. This may come in convenient, as this limited-edition vessel is capable of reaching a top speed of 44 knots, which is sufficient for thrill-seekers and Bugatti owners alike.

The Bugatti Niniette 66 also features a very impressive master suite, with soft leathers, polished metal, velour, and carbon fiber contributing to the vessel’s luxurious appeal. There is also a charming salon with a macaron skylight, a marble-clad guest toilet, and a small galley kitchen, none of which are found in a Chiron.

This yacht also comes with a fire pit, Jacuzzi, sun pads, and a Champagne bar to help you forget all your concerns and to remind you that you’re one of only 66 people who have the privilege of owning this magnificent vessel.

Powered by fuel-efficient MAN V-8 engines and notable MJP waterjets, the Bugatti Niniette 66 will quickly prove to be a worthwhile investment. Guests will compete to operate this joystick-controlled speedboat, but we recommend taking it easy. In addition, there is currently no pricing information.

Progetto Bolide Concept: A Breathtaking Masterpiece That Redefines Yacht Artistry!

The Italian masters at Tankoa Yachts recently joined forces with the Rome-based luxury design firm Exclusive Design, but it wasn’t for a photoshoot or an informal get-together. The outcome of this one-of-a-kind collaboration is a mind-blowing 72-meter superyacht called the Progetto Bolide Concept.

This enticing concept was inspired by the 20th-century movement of futurism, with Exclusive Design imagining the yacht’s futuristic and inventive lines with 20th-century Italian art at the forefront of their minds. This vessel also features a high-tech wine cellar with its own integrated Wi-Fi system, which assists passengers in locating the appropriate bottle.

These two companies operate in completely different industries, yet they were able to bring this exceptional project to life, one that is highly customized and designed with the client in mind. This new Tankoa marvel appears poised to conquer the seas and win your heart in the process, as it resembles a moving work of art.

The fortunate owner(s) of this yacht will have access to a vast, two-deck accommodation with a drawing room, gym, and spa, as well as a master bedroom with a skylight – and that’s just the beginning. The interiors depicted here appear to match the exterior lines, but the next proprietor will be able to modify them as they see fit.

Two years of research, design, and development went into the conception of Progetto Bolide, a vessel that aims to contribute new value to the luxury yachting industry. The 72-meter motor yacht will be propelled by twin CAT engines, which will allow it to reach 18 knots and cruise at 12.5 knots.

Pink Gin VI: The Panther’s Superyacht, a Pink Sail in the Open Sea

It appears to be the case, don’t you think? This innovative yacht was created by the creative team at Baltic Yachts, who once again pushed the boundaries of design to the next level. This magnificent vessel, named Pink Gin VI, features the world’s largest carbon fiber sloop and many other firsts, but despite its dreamlike appearance, it was likely a torment to bring to life.

It appears that life aboard the new Pink Gin was intended to be enjoyable, natural, and extremely comfortable. This pink beauty was designed to cruise at 12 to 14 knots but could reach even higher speeds if necessary while keeping passengers secure.

The massive 53.9-meter all-carbon sloop enables Pink Gin to display two large hull openings, one forward on the starboard side of the master suite and the other amidship on the port side. Each hatch functions as an integral part of the hull, rather than deflecting tension around them – an intriguing design, don’t you think?

The sailing experience is made even more pleasurable by the hydraulic-assist solutions that provide the helmsman with crucial data without any hassle.

According to the owner’s wishes, the British studio Design Unlimited created a delectable combination of fabrics, tastes, and textures for the interior. Two custom-made Murano glass chandeliers are also present, which is undoubtedly unexpected on a yacht.

Fashion, art, and music were also a part of the inspiration, with materials chosen for their ability to age and create a homey atmosphere on-board – a baby grand piano and a resin-trapped floral table, handcrafted sliding doors in the master suite, and other items make this superyacht appear more like a luxurious hotel than a fun mode of transportation. There has been no sighting of the Pink Panther onboard.

Oceanco’s Esquel: A Breathtaking Expedition Yacht Concept that Pushes Boundaries

Oceanco wowed all attendees of the 2019 Dubai International Boat Show on the very first day by unveiling the Esquel, a 105-meter yacht concept. This magnificent expedition vessel is designed for individuals who are capable of cruising in some of the world’s most remote regions while providing them with all the comfort and amenities they desire.

Esquel was designed by Timur Bozca and Gina Brennan, and its diesel-electric propulsion system was developed by Lateral. It has an impressive range of 7,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 13 knots, ensuring that this eye-catching explorer yacht can reach any destination.

The hull is ice-strengthened and has Polar Classification, allowing it to navigate even in the most remote polar regions. The vessel is also equipped with a sophisticated dynamic positioning system, which eliminates the need for an anchor, thereby reducing the Esquel’s carbon footprint and making cruising the world’s oceans and seas more environmentally friendly.

The luxurious interior of the Esquel superyacht makes it a floating house away from home. There is a master suite with a grand panoramic portal, a lounge, and a cozy fireplace, ideal for unwinding after a day of ocean exploration.

In addition to being a comfortable family home, the Esquel can be converted into a marine conservation support vessel with onboard workshops and laboratories. Unveiling the Dynamiq GTT 160: A Superyacht Concept Redefined for the Adventurous Connoisseur

Dynamiq has disclosed new information about the GTT 160, a 50-meter superyacht concept for “active owners”

The 49.5-meter, all-aluminum model is part of a new range of configurable yachts with a concentration on sport and well-being, designed for owners who wish to travel to a variety of destinations.

Dynamiq has now revealed that the superyacht will have an internal volume of 399GT, be propelled by two MAN i6-730, 537kw engines, and will take 24 months to construct. In addition, the interiors will be designed by the Milanese firm Claudio Pironi & Partners, and the superyacht is built to RINA and LY4 standards.

The yacht features “racy and contemporary styling” by Dobroserdov Design and a lengthened rapid displacement hull by Van Oossanen Naval Architects. Its base price is €21,900,000.

The hull reduces drag and improves fuel economy, resulting in peak speeds of 17 knots and a transatlantic range of 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots. A more potent propulsion package is also available for maximum speeds of 23 knots, and a hybrid system is available for silent cruising.

Sergei Dobroserdov, founder and CEO of Dynamiq, stated that the GTT 160 offered a point of differentiation in the 50-meter market. “There are so many 50-meter yachts under 500 GT on the market, but they all resemble one another in appearance and functionality,” he said.

As a result, the builder prioritized the “priorities of modern owners,” focusing specifically on well-being, efficiency, and cost.

“In terms of naval architecture, we chose a slim vessel with a long waterline because it is more efficient and comfortable than a short, wide hull. Instead of maximizing the interior volume, we considered all of the owner’s wants and requirements in terms of layout and features,” he added.

There are accommodations for a maximum of 12 visitors in six cabins and up to eight crew members in crew quarters. A large portion of the interior, as depicted in newly-released renderings, is clad in refined marbles and inspired by traditional superyacht design.

The master stateroom is located forward on the main deck and features two impressive fixed-side balconies. The expansive galley includes a breakfast bar. The upper deck features an outdoor cinema lounge and bar area, while the sun deck has a second navigation station with expansive ocean views.

Unusually, the 120-square-meter beach club is located on the main deck, which also features a 12-person hot pool and an enclosed spa area with a sauna, hammam, and fitness center.

Carbon-Neutral Superyacht Concept VY-01: A Garden-Like Haven at Sea

The German design firm 3deluxe has unveiled the VY-01, a carbon-neutral 110-meter superyacht concept with a “garden-like” interior.

The concept was unveiled for the first time at the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show and is described as a “floating garden of Eden” by the studio. Greenhouse and vegetable garden are prominent features of the open-floor plan.

Regarding the design, the studio stated, “Climate change is compelling industries to reevaluate their operations.

“The interior of the yacht concept defies many yacht design conventions and instead reflects the project’s emphasis on nature”

Guests can experience a light-filled interior thanks to the presence of sensor-controlled louvres that encircle the superstructure. Additionally, the sundeck of the VY-01 has 470 square metres of solar panels and a sunbathing area.

The concept will be propelled by fuel cells fueled by hydrogen and refuelled with bio-methanol, with a range of 3,240 nautical miles. The level of noise pollution is kept to a minimum because electric engines are mute.

The beach club features a pool with an infinity edge, and steps lead up to a shady seating area.
