VINCE McMahon’s reign over the WWE has ended after four decades with the company.

The 78-year-old wrestling mogul’s last day as the WWE’s majority owner is on Monday during WWE Raw, marking the end of the McMahon historical era.

McMahon announced in April that he agreed to sell the company to investors from the Endeavor group for $9.3billion.

The deal is expected to be finalized tomorrow, meaning that both WWE and UFC will be under the same umbrella.

Monday’s episode of RAW will be the last under McMahon’s sole control.

The day-to-day operation will remain the same as Tripple H’s current position as the head of creative.

McMahon won’t be out of the picture entirely as he is set to still contribute to running the company.

He will serve as the Executive Chair of the new enterprise while owning 16 percent.

McMahon purchased the World Wrestling Federation from his father, Vince Sr., in 1982.

He retired from his role as CEO in July 2022 amid sexual misconduct claims — that he has denied.

McMahon returned to oversee the merger with the UFC and had surgery to fix a spinal issue in July.

The operation is said to have lasted nearly five hours, according to TMZ.

As per Fightful Select, it was a “major, life-altering operation.”

McMahon’s procedure was deemed a success, although his role is set to look slightly different from this point onward as he seldom attends events anymore.

Less than a week ago, the 78-year-old McMahon sold 8.4 million shares in TKO.

In September, the UFC and WWE officially merged to form TKO.

With the merger, McMahon stepped down from the WWE and became Executive Chairman of TKO.

In the switch, WWE legend Triple H took over as the WWE’s head of creative.

It’s the first time in WWE history that the wrestling promotion isn’t under a McMahon name.

Some fans expect McMahon to step back from the company, and his sale may be the first hint.

Since last week’s sale, he was pictured for the first time looking nearly unrecognizable.

McMahon was photographed with a black walking cane in a plaid suit jacket with his patented mustache and a black beret.

Fans on Instagram commented on the wrestling star’s look.

One wrote: “Bro out here looking like Walt Disney.”

A second said: “French McMahon.”

Another added: “Mc. Pimp.”

And a fourth remarked: “He’s getting old man.”

Despite selling over $700 million, McMahon still has a significant amount of shares in the company.

According to reports, it was only around 30 percent of his holdings.

His remaining shares are valued at around $2 billion.

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler has adopted a completely different look.

Lawler is among the greatest legends in professional wrestling history that helped build the industry thanks to his work in the 1970s and 1980s in his hometown of Memphis during the famous territory days.

The King has been a mainstay in WWE since the early 2000s as a commentator on Monday Night RAW.

However, the 73-year-old has stepped back from TV ever since 2020 and has instead been making sporadic appearances.

The former wrestler also suffered a stroke in February from which he thankfully recovered.

Lawler made a stunning comeback on RAW last month in front of a live crowd in Memphis who gave him a standing ovation after a warm introduction from Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.

And much to the fans’ pleasure, the heavyweight made another surprise public appearance two weeks ago.

The King attended the NCAA football clash between the Memphis Tigers and Tulane Green Wave at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium.

And the ex-grappler shocked the fans as he also sported a full white goatee.

The WWE Universe was left amazed by his new look but stormed the comments’ section as they were happy to see him in good health.

One fan tweeted: “He’s got the beard of a king!”

Another commented: “I like the mature look.”

A third posted: “King still looking sharp, what an absolute legend.”

This fan said: “Damn, almost didn’t recognize him, lol.”

And that one stated: “It’s great to see The King.”

FRITZ Von Erich and his sons are some of the most famous professional wrestlers ever to have graced the ring.

But despite their ability, charisma and togetherness things took a dramatic turn and a heartbreaking curse plagued the talented wrestling family for decades.

Who are the Von Erich family?

The Von Erich family is one of the most popular families in professional wrestling.

Made up of a father and his six children they dominated American wresting in it’s early years.

The family started with Jack Adkisson, one of the first proper bad guy in wrestling, also known as a heel.

He portrayed a Nazi in his big break and got “nuclear heat” from fans for his ability to play the perfect villain.

Fritz’s success was passed down to his large family as his first three sons Kevin, David and Kerry all got into the wrestling business at a young age.

The three brother’s became some of wrestling’s best in ring performers and with their retired father now owning the promotion they worked for they became the biggest names in the industry.

Kerry was charismatic and built like a Greek god, David was one of the best wrestlers ever and Kevin’s speed and agility made him capable of crazy stunts.

Into the 70s and 80s they became household names with the family even fighting against aliens in comics and appearing in TV commercials.

What is the Von Erich curse?

The infamous Von Erich curse is all to do with the several unfortunate and brutal deaths in the family.

It started with Adkisson’s child Jack Jr being electrocuted before drowning in a puddle at Niagara Falls when he was only six-years-old.

David was the next victim to the curse as at 25-years-old David’s intestines had burst and filled his body with blood leading to a tragic killer heart attack.

Three years later in 1987 Mike Von Erich who also wrestled injured his shoulder and needed surgery.

After a routine operation his temperature rocketed to 107 degrees because of toxic shock syndrome that caused brain damage and severe weight loss.

He tried to fight through it both in and out of the ring until he was found in a sleeping bag near the family home, overdosed on tranquilizers.

After three deaths to Fritz’s children the curse continued to tear through one of Americas most popular dwindling families.

Chris Von Erich shot himself in the head after abusing drugs because of Mike’s death.

The most successful brother Kerry, who had beat Ric Flair for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship died in the same way at just 33 after a motorcycle accident ended his career.

Fritz, who had outlived five of his six sons, then got a divorce before getting brain cancer and dying at 68.

Which Von Erich brothers are still alive?

Today only one of the original Von Erich’s are left.

Kevin, 66, has gone on to tell his story and the whole families in several documentaries and news reports.

A new biopic about the legendary fighters is set to come out by the end of 2023.

Titled Iron Claw after the Von Erich’s legendary finisher move, A24 have been dropping trailers for the film for a while now.

The movie focuses on Kevin, played by Zac Efron, and brothers Kerry, David, Mike, and Chris.

It talks about their relationship with their father Fritz, founder of the legendary WCCW territory in Texas.

Marshall Von Erich – a third generation family member said on X, formerly known as Twitter: “I knew it wouldn’t be 100% accurate because my Dad (Kevin) wasn’t Involved but those of you that know our family know that God played a major role in our story.

“Still excited about it and think it can help a lot of people that are suffering from loss. They nailed the wardrobe tho.”

Marshall is one of four children Kevin had, seemingly breaking the horror curse.

Alongside his brother Ross they still use the Von Erich surname in the ring and have found success as Tag Team Champions in various promotions.

Political parties are really interested in Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and are eyeing him for the Oval Office.

The professional wrestler-turned-movie star said he has been approached by political parties to run for President of the United States after a survey from the New York Daily News found that 46% of Americans would vote for him .

“It was an interesting poll that came out and I was really moved by it. And I was really surprised. I’m really honored,” he told Trevor Noah on “What Now?” audio file.

“Yeah… It’s all very strange. Because that was never my goal. My goal has never been to enter politics. In fact, there are a lot of things about politics that I hate,” he admits.

When the poll first came out in 2021, he told USA Today he was up for the challenge. He shared: “I will consider running for president in the future if that is what the people want.” “I really mean that, and I’m not being careless with my answer… It’s up to everyone… So I’ll wait and I’ll listen. I’ll put my finger on top. My pulse pounded and my ears fell to the ground.”

Johnson said that after he made those comments, the parties attacked.

“But then I really had to double down on this idea and here’s the truth: I have young children. I have three daughters.” His daughter, Ava, with first wife Dany Garcia is now 22, but he has a 7-year-old and a 5-year-old with wife Lauren Hashian. “I have a lot of estrogen in the house. And I love it,” emphasizing the importance of being a present father.

“I know what it’s like to do a job that has taken me far…Now I don’t want that to happen to my young children. And so that was – one of the main discussions I had with the parties who ended up saying, ‘Yeah but other people have done it like this!’”

“Of course I would consider it,” Johnson said of running for president, if people were truly passionate about his candidacy.

“It means you’re what people expect a leader to be, or it means things have gotten so bad that they think ‘We need someone who’s going to come in here and knock the everyone’,” Noah joked of the public’s interest.

Johnson’s representative did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

WWE Hall of Famer Andre the Giant was a captivating figure – but it wasn’t always sunshine and rainbows for the legend.

Former wrestler Brutus Beefcake, also in the WWE Hall of Fame, revealed he “couldn’t breathe” after the “Eighth Wonder of the World” dropped a deuce on the plane.

Brutus told Wrestling Shoot Interviews: “Andre would always time it so that he would take a dump before he went to the airport, before he went to the plane, then he’d be good for a day or two.”

But after the Frenchman boarded the plane, Brutus says his fight colleague “went to town” on the toilets.

Brutus added: “I’ve never heard anything like it. The sounds that are coming out of there.

“The smell that started coming forward, the back of the plane had a lot of people. There were people falling out of their seats and into the aisles.

“Gagging, puking, crying, screaming, and we were all falling on the floor laughing ourselves sick.

“I couldn’t breathe. He must have half filled-up a garbage bag full of s**t.”

Unfortunately for Andre, almost every flight was unbearable – and not because of the bathrooms.

The 7-foot-3 inch and 520-pound marvel didn’t fit into any seat due to his ginormous size.

Pictures have arisen from the giant seated on planes, with Andre stuffed between the rigid armrests.

Calling the situation uncomfortable for Andre was considered a massive understatement.

One photo, featured in HBO’s Andre the Giant documentary, is taking the internet by storm.

On Reddit, fans were stunned by the snap.

One posted: “His gigantism is sad, but also the best thing that ever happened to him.”

A second joked: “He’s just a little bigger than the person I usually get seated next to…”

Sadly, Andre passed away in 1993 at age 46.

Logan Paul is a professional wrestler who made a video of himself going to a shop to pawn off the WWE title. He has been making videos on this and uploading them on social media.

Professional wrestler, actor, and Youtuber Logan Paul tried to pawn off his WWE United States Championship, which he had won just some days ago for $100,000.

Logan had shared of him visiting what seems like a pawn shop and enquiring about how much he would get for the title.

A behind-the-scenes video shared by Logan shows him visiting the shop and explaining that it was taken from Rey Mysterio, The owner of the shop after knowing about it immediately asked Logan whether he could buy it from him.

The shop owner even wanted to click a photo with Logan wearing the belt so that he could send the photo of himself with the 28-year-old wrestler to his niece.

Paul subtly suggested that he could offer the gold at a reasonable price when the pawn shopkeeper rightly inquired if it was available for purchase. Paul clarified that he obtained the belt from Rey Mysterio and was unaware of its history.

In another video clip, Logan was looking unimpressed and offended at the pawn shop where he had taken a $500k Golden Prime bottle. At the shop, the influencer was not even offered anywhere near the amount.

She noted, “I’ve gaine so much respect for this woman sitting beside me. She is everything that she says she is. She is the EST of WWE and I’d be happy to fight by her side any times she needs me.”

The only issue is that she’s not technically a SmackDown Superstar.

The SmackDown roster is shy of babyface female competitors. Michin and Zelina Vega are the only other competitors that could be likely options. Tamina is on the roster, but there’s some talk that she’s quietly retired from in-ring competition. The alternative is to bring back a returning star of some kind, perhaps someone that could be on the radar for both rosters. That someone might be Jade Cargill.

He may try to regain control of the group, or get his own faction going. This is likely going to take the next few weeks of storylines on the blue brand, carefully weaving a narrative that sets up Mysterio’s return.
