VINCE McMahon’s reign over the WWE has ended after four decades with the company.
The 78-year-old wrestling mogul’s last day as the WWE’s majority owner is on Monday during WWE Raw, marking the end of the McMahon historical era.

McMahon announced in April that he agreed to sell the company to investors from the Endeavor group for $9.3billion.
The deal is expected to be finalized tomorrow, meaning that both WWE and UFC will be under the same umbrella.
Monday’s episode of RAW will be the last under McMahon’s sole control.
The day-to-day operation will remain the same as Tripple H’s current position as the head of creative.
McMahon won’t be out of the picture entirely as he is set to still contribute to running the company.
He will serve as the Executive Chair of the new enterprise while owning 16 percent.
McMahon purchased the World Wrestling Federation from his father, Vince Sr., in 1982.
He retired from his role as CEO in July 2022 amid sexual misconduct claims — that he has denied.
McMahon returned to oversee the merger with the UFC and had surgery to fix a spinal issue in July.
The operation is said to have lasted nearly five hours, according to TMZ.
As per Fightful Select, it was a “major, life-altering operation.”
McMahon’s procedure was deemed a success, although his role is set to look slightly different from this point onward as he seldom attends events anymore.
