Rubizh Brigade’s Marksmen Trained by Come Back Alive Foundation

55 marksmen of the 4th Rapid Reaction Brigade “Rubizh” passed a training course from the Come Back Alive Foundation.

This was announced by the Charity Fund, which is providing competent assistance to the Army.

The training of Ukrainian soldiers was conducted within the framework of the “Beast Catchers” project.

The training course for 55 soldiers of the Rubizh Brigade lasted three days and was conducted by “Come Back Alive Foundation sniping instructors.

In addition to theoretical and practical knowledge, marksmen were also provided with 50 optical and 5 thermal sights, as well as fasteners for them.

The total cost of assistance is UAH 1,990 million.

“The task of a marksman (infantry sniper) is to see the enemy first in the optical sight, stop or neutralize it with fire at a distance of up to 600 m inclusive. He works on important enemy targets: an assault group, a scout, a machine gun, or a grenade launcher,” the foundation said.

In general, within the framework of the “Beast Catchers” project, the Come Back Alive Foundation trains and provides sights with 600 marksmen for 10 brigades of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

So far, 500 infantry snipers have already been trained.

The total cost of the project is about UAH 25 million.

The expected outcome of the “Beast Catchers” project is to provide Ukrainian units with better-trained and accurate shooters, critically needed both in the offensive and active defense.

The Fund’s instructors conducted the first training course for 60 soldiers of the 32nd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Also, in particular, they trained for the “Lyut” Brigade and the Azov Special Forces Brigade of the NGU.
