Russians allege a Ukrainian nighttime missile attack on an anti-aircraft missile regiment in temporarily occupied Crimea.
This is reported by the ASTRA Telegram channel.
According to their sources, 17 Russian servicemen were wounded in the attack.
Five cars were also damaged. One of the vehicles is beyond repair.
It is noted that the missile strike was carried out today, October 30, at about 3 a.m. near the village of Olenivka in the occupied Crimea.
The missile attack allegedly targeted the location of an anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Russian invaders. This information has not yet been officially confirmed by either the Ukrainian or the Russian side.
It is worth noting that a Russian air defense base is indeed located in the area of this settlement.
In August, Militarnyi reported the destruction of elements of the Russian S-400 Triumf air defense system near this village. At that time, a total of two 5P85SM2-01 self-propelled launchers were destroyed.
The Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine clarified that the explosion had completely destroyed the systems themselves, as well as the missiles and personnel.
“On August 23, 2023, at about 10:00 a.m, an explosion occurred near the village of Olenivka on Cape Tarkhankut in the temporarily occupied Crimea, destroying a Russian air defense system,” the DIU specified.
The Ukrainian intelligence representative did not disclose what kind of weapons was used to destroy the elements of this Russian air defense system.
This is not the first time that S-400 systems have been destroyed. In particular, in July of this year, the Ukrainian military disabled a battery of the Russian Triumf air defense system by targeting its key vehicles with artillery fire.
