THE END John Cena teases next career move with cryptic post after crushing defeat to Solo Sikoa at WWE Crown Jewel

Many WWE fans believe John Cena is set to retire

WWE legend John Cena teased an imminent retirement after his latest crushing defeat to Solo Sikoa at Crown Jewel.

Cena faced Sikoa in Saudi Arabia last week and suffered a devastating loss that saw The Bloodline member bludgeoning the future Hall of Famer with a series of Samoan Spikes.

The 16-time world champion barely managed to get back up to his feet after the bell as he received a standing ovation from the crowd in Riyadh.

WWE commentator Michael Cole then dropped a strong retirement hint by stating: “Now will Solo Sikoa’s record show that he was the one who retired John Cena?”

This goes down as yet another major blow as The Leader of the Cenation hasn’t won a Singles Match since 2018.

The Champ hasn’t been seen since the beatdown he suffered in the Middle East and got the WWE Universe rattled on social media with another cryptic post on Instagram.

The 46-year-old shared a Looney Tunes-themed graphic which had “The End” written on it.

Some fans took to the comments’ section begging Cena not to retire as they think this is a sign he’s done in the ring.

However, many others correctly pointed out that the ex-WWE Champion, who often winds wrestling enthusiasts up on Instagram, is probably pointing out at the end of the strike in Hollywood.

The actors’ strike came to an end on Wednesday after a deal between SAG-AFTRA and AMPTP was agreed upon, which means the former World Heavyweight Champion can return to acting.

One fan posted: “Noo!!! Don’t do that Cena.”

Another commented: “Miss you already.”

A third said: “Don’t make me rip that new movie script up out your hand! You still got more in the tank!”

This fan wrote: “If this was the final match, man. I respect it. Giving everyone a push. John. You made my childhood.”

And that one stated: “The end of the strike, not his career.”

Cena is still very passionate about wrestling and the future of the business, which is why he puts over young talent so often.

But the American grappler’s recent return was down to the strike which freed up his schedule.

Now that the ban is lifted it is unlikely fans will see the heavyweight athlete any time soon.

However, there is still no concrete indication this is indeed the end of his glittering 24-year career.
